INFLUENTIAL FAMILIES OF SAN FRANCISCO & THE PENINSULA
Join Michael Svanevik for
penetrating glimpses of the Peninsula’s history and those who created it. The
class will combine relevant stories of San Francisco with nostalgic talks of
the Peninsula and Santa Clara Valley. Topics include breathtaking estates;
colorful personalities such as George Gordon, the Athertons, Lathams, Ralstons,
Floods, Stanfords, Murphys and many others. You will learn about their
successes and their accomplishments which made them unique and this region
famous.
