Celebration of Black History Month

From Buffalo Soldiers to George Washington Carver, African Americans have rich history in conservation. Find out more about African Americans who pioneered conservation in America as Midpen and special guest Henrietta Burroughs, founder of the East Palo Alto Center for Community Media, celebrates Black History Month and the Healthy Parks Healthy People

-Enjoy a guided hike along an easy, wheelchair and stroller accessible trail.
-Bird-watching from viewing platforms along the salt marsh.
-Special appearance by the California Buffalo Soldiers Association.
-Prizes and giveaways!
