AAUW Meeting American Association of University Women

The San
Carlos, Redwood City AAUW Chapter (American Association of University Women)
has scheduled its first meeting of the 2013-2014 year for Saturday, September
21 at 2:00 pm at the Redwood Shores Library, 339 Mariner Parkway, Redwood
Shores.  This meeting will be an
introduction for prospective new members as well as a chance for past members
to meet with friends. The goals and objectives of AAUW will be shared along
with an introduction to the various social groups the chapter sponsors. These
groups are as varied as a forum on public policy, and groups that play bridge,
go hiking, attend the latest movies, have dinners out, play board games and do
stitchery. Anyone with an interest in joining AAUW is invited to attend as well
as all the current members. Light refreshments will be served. For more
