Transit Village Up Close and Personal
A site tour of the planned residential/retail/office development is scheduled for Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
In addition to a community meeting to share the revised plans for the proposed Transit Village Project, Legacy Partners, the project developer, will offer a tour of the site located along El Camino Real near Holly Street.
A tour of the San Carlos Transit Village site will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. The tour will start at the San Carlos Train Depot and will run from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Transit Village, in the planning stages since late 2006, is being considered by the City of San Carlos to add retail space, high-end residential rental units, affordable housing units and additional parking on the land around the historic San Carlos train station.
Residents and business owners will also have an opportunity to view the latest drawings of the project, which have been modified from the original plans based on community and city input over the last several months at a community meeting Wednesday evening.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of the San Carlos Library at 610 Elm Street.
