Still Time to Toss Your Hat In the Ring For Planning Commission
The San Carlos Planning Commission filing deadline has been extended to August 16.
The San Carlos Planning Commission now has one vacant seat due to the expired term of a commissioner, and in order to create a larger pool of candidates, the filing deadline for the commission opening has been extended to Friday, August 16, 2013 at 4:00 PM.
Planning commissioners make recommendations on the city’s General Plan for future development, review and act on proposals for development applications, review and act upon zoning changes, and makes recommendations to the city council. Commissioners meet the first and third Monday of the month at 7 p.m.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the evening of Monday, August 26, 2013. Applications and supplemental questions are available to download online.
