Sawyer Camp Trail to Close Temporarily
Work on Hetch Hetchy system will require the trail to be closed June 5-7. Additionally, the trail will be shared with a biking event on June 9.
The popular Sawyer Camp Trail will be temporarily closed this week---Wed. June 5 thru Fri. June 7)--for Hetch Hetchy Water System work.
According to a notice sent out by the SMC Alert system, six miles of the trail will be closed. The trail may reopen early – updates will be available online at www.sfwater.org/SCT and by phone: 866-973-1476. San Andreas Trail will remain open.
In addition, the roads around Sawyer Camp Trail will be shared with Silicon Valley Tour de Cure on the morning of Sunday, June 9. Drivers are advised to be cautious when driving and parking near the trail. The roads will NOT be closed on Sunday the 9th.
