Babies and Books Story Time

That's why the San Carlos Public Library is offering their Babies and Books Storytime for infants every Wednesday morning. Join the library staff and other parents and children for rhymes, songs, lap play and short stories for the very young. This event is free and no prior registration is required. The first session begins at 10:15am and the second begins at 11am, each week.
Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore

The ReStore is a volunteer-driven social enterprise that accepts and resells new and re-useable building materials, appliances, hardware, and furniture to the public at a fraction of the normal retail price. All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco to fund the construction of homes in San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo Counties. So, we like to call the ReStore “the store that builds.”

Our volunteer shifts run from 9-1 and 1-5, Tuesday-Saturday, but we love for volunteers to stay for the whole day.
