Saviz Boutique Announces Grand Opening of New Shop in San Carlos, California to provide chic, fashion forward women’s clothing and accessories

San Carlos, California - (December, 2013) –  Specializing in stylish European and California designer clothing and accessories for women, Saviz Boutique announces it’s relocation from Half Moon Bay to downtown San Carlos, CA on Laurel Avenue.  Going on her seventh year in business, owner Saviz Kasravy has relocated her popular boutique to be more central to her customer base throughout the greater Bay Area.    

The boutique’s offerings range from everyday wearable clothing and functional styles to high-end designer fashions for the savvy modern woman, including stylish tops and jackets, casual-chic pants, avant-garde dresses, accessories, scarves and even fashionable fingerless gloves.  The collection combines unusual European labels from Copenhagen, Paris, Germany and Italy, along with Japanese influenced clothing lines and unique San Francisco lines.  Brands such as Mado, Lola, Moyuru, Ivan Grundahal, Karin Moggridge, Transparente, Avante-Garde, Karen Klein, Alevation Trade, Lauren Videl, Elsewhere, Neesh by D.A.R, and Boho by Moe (fingerless gloves) can be found at the shop.

Saviz describes her original vision for the boutique as providing “clothing that is sophisticated, but with a bit of an edge, for women who want style with comfort, and are not afraid of standing out.”  For Saviz, a former clothing boutique manager who studied fashion design, layering clothing can be “a work of art” and she skillfully lends a hand to customers newly learning the tricks of the trade.  “The final product is always a result of the woman themselves, and how they combine the clothing to display their own sense of style and uniqueness” says Saviz.  The clothing materials range from cotton and linen to wool, cashmere, leather, and wearable technical fabrics.  All the clothing offered is crafted for comfort and flexibility, so that it can be combined to create as original a look as each customer. 

The new location on Laurel Avenue includes plenty of room for customers to experience the boutique’s arty fashion lines and cosmopolitan styles, which conjure up visions of European cafes and Milan fashion week. The décor combines a modern and slightly industrial vibe of airy, open spaces and chic displays, with vintage touches such as an early edition Singer sewing machine, and woven basket artfully displayed with handcrafted scarves.

The boutique also carries artisan jewelry by Julie Shenkman Jewelry Designs, which debuts with a Holiday Boutique Trunk Show on Wednesday, December 11 from 2-7.  The designer will be showcasing her Holiday Collection of unique, artisan jewelry including semi-precious gems in rich fall colors and modern necklaces, bracelets and earrings in mixed metals.
