A good mechanic is hard to find, and harder to trust.
Readers have been sharing suggestions on our Facebook and Twitter accounts since last night. Names like Nordic Motors and Wood Service Center; or Spietri's in Belmont; or or Towne Ford or Fred's Garage in Redwood City were thrown around, among others.
"Nordic Motors is the best," said Cindy Wilson. "We have seriously considered buying a Volvo simply based on the fact that Nordic Motors is the finest mechanic in the Bay Area. We've gone there for fifteen plus years, as have my parents, and there's not another mechanic we trust as deeply as Carl."
Milly Simpson supported Spiteri's.
"A family owned shop," she said. "Very professional, quality work, they sure take pride of their work! A very clean shop too."
