Restaurant Row is a new feature for San Carlos Patch where we'll be discussing a new restaurant each Tuesday.
Spasso - meaning "entertainment" - was named by Open Table as one of the best Italian restaurants on the Peninsula. San Carlos is home to several Italian eateries on its Laurel Street strip, but Spasso has long been a favorite of critics.
Inside, the restaurant offers diners a cozy yet bustling experience one would find downtown San Francisco. The menu is full of Italian takes on lamb chops, filet mignon, salmon, and a variety of pastas, accompanied by an extensive wine list.
