San Carlos-Based Zimbio Raises 8.9 Million
The tech company raised funds to help expand.
San Carlos-based Zimbio announced the company has raised $8.9 million in a Series B funding led by Menlo Ventures, according to Julie Anne Herrin, their PR and Marketing Specialist.
"The new capital will be used to further develop Zimbio's product, expand the editorial staff, build a sales team, and fund upcoming product launches," said Herrin. "We're very excited about this company milestone."
The new funds will help the compay expand with a new office in New York City.

Zimbio is an online media company that operates two lifestyle properties. As comScore's number five ranked entertainment news site with an audience of more than 10 million US readers.
It also is the parent company to StyleBistro.com, ranked as the seventh site in Fashion, Beauty, and Style, entering comScore’s top ten in its first year.
