San Carlos-based StyleBistro to Host Fashion Week Challenge

Stylebistro.com, a San Carlos-based fashion and celebrity online website, will be hosting a Fashion Week Pinterest.com Challenge, to coincide with New York’s 2012 Fashion Week.

Pinterest is an online photo pinboard where people can post photos and receive feedback.

"Not naming any names, but there are some serious Pinterest addicts in our office,” said associate editor Tomnya Leigh, in an interview with Zimbio that can be read here. “It's definitely a great place to contribute and consume beautiful photography, so it felt like a natural platform for our contest. We publish some of the best Fashion Week imagery on the Internet, and quite possibly the most. Pinterest seems like an easy way for contest participants to curate their favorites."

The contest will begin Feb. 9. Fashion editors will choose the best ten, who will receive gifts.

For those interested in participating, here’s how it works:

Step 1: Create a StyleBistro Fashion Week Contest board on Pinterest – Title your board “StyleBistro Fashion Week Contest” and categorize it under Women’s or Men’s Apparel.  If you need an invite to Pinterest, please feel free to contact us at fwcontest@zimbio.com

Step 2: Pin your favorite images from Fashion Week Fall 2012 – Go to StyleBistro.com and pin 20+ of your favorite images from Fall 2012 Fashion Week. All pins must come from StyleBistro.com and be associated with Fashion Week Fall 2012.

Step 3: Post a link to your board on our Facebook Wall – Post a link to your board onFacebook.com/stylebistro for a chance to win one of ten prize packages containing StyleBistro Beauty Editor’s picks for the best beauty products for Spring 2012. Winners will be chosen and notified by Monday, Feb. 27.

The contest runs from Feb. 9 through Feb. 23. Beginning on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 12:01 am PST and ending at 12:01 am PST Thursday, Feb. 24. All submissions must be posted on the StyleBistro Facebook Wall by this time with a link to each entrant’s board.
