Meet a Farmer's Market Vendor: Iced Baking

Pacifica Patch stopped at the Coastside Farmer's Market to talk to Iced Baking, a local bakery that specializes in a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Every Wednesday from 2:30pm to 6:30p.m. Pacifica hosts the Coastside Farmer's Market, where visitors can stop by to taste and purchase fresh fish, produce and other locally made products.

Pacifica Patch interviewed some of the faces behind the farmer's market to give you the inside scoop on the local vendors.

This week, we interviewed Ellen Ginsberg, owner of Iced Baking. The local business features an assortment of freshly made baked goods including traditional sweet muffins, savory muffins, and galettes. Iced Baking's goods can only be found at the Pacifica Farmer's Market and by special order online. Online orders can be picked up at the market or can be delivered. Come see Iced Baking and a variety of other vendors at the Coastside Farmer's Market every Wednesday from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.

We bought a savory torte from her that was positively fabulous! The pastry was so flaky and buttery it just melted in your mouth. And I love to buy from local businesses too.

I also tried the potato torte and I thought it was really delicious. Thanks for sharing, Maggie!

We went Wednesday after we saw this. Looked up Ellen and bought some of her baked goods. Do the same and you won't be sorry! Today and yesterday we shared her muffins--Heavenly! We're going back for more next week!
