San Carlos Brewers Participate in Silicon Valley Beer Week
Silicon Valley Beer Week is a celebration of all the vibrant brewing and culinary traditions that the region has to offer.
San Carlos and other Peninsula and South Bay commuities are participating this week in the first annual Silicon Valley Beer Week.
The event, which goes through Aug. 3, highlights restaurants, breweries and other venues that are passionate about craft beer in the area, according to information posted on its website.
San Carlos events for Thursday, Aug. 1 and Friday, Aug. 2:
Thursday, Aug. 1

- The Bruery – Tap Takeover 5-9 p.m. at Refuge, 963 Laurel St. Sample six different offerings from award-winning SoCal brewery. Tasting portions available.
Friday, Aug. 2
- ReptiAles 3 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Ale Arsenal, 971 Laurel St. Live reptile handling and 25 craft beers.
- Open House 4-8 p.m. Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington St., Open house at San Carlos' newest brewery-- with live music and food truck.
