Is That a Ferris Wheel in Burton Park? Yup
Ride the ferris wheel Friday night and raise a few bucks for Burton Park---how fun is THAT?
Ever thinking of unique ways to raise funds for park improvements, the San Carlos Parks and Recreation Foundation will bring a touch of county fair magic to Burton Park this Friday with Ferris Wheel Fantasy.
The foundation has teamed up with Friday Night Concerts to host this special event on the basketball courts at Burton park from 4-9 p.m. during the concert.
Ride the ferris wheel while listening to music by Friday's featured band, Livewire. Ride tickets are $10 per ride for all ages. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Burton Park Phase II project which begins later this summer.
Phase II will include the addition of bocce courts, construction of a permanent community stage, renovation of the basketball courts, landscaping, community tiles and other improvements.
