Symphony at Sunset Tonight To Raise Money For Park

The event opens at 6:15 pm and begins at 7:15 pm.

The "Symphony at Sunset" orchestral performance will begin at 7:15 pm Friday night, a night of outdoor music at Burton Park designed to raise money for park improvements.

Sponsored by the Parks & Recreation Foundation of San Carlos, the St. Peter's Chamber Orchestra will perform classic and modern songs while local establishments provide food and drink for those in attendance.

General Admission is $50 while reserved seating for four will cost $250. Reserved seating for eight is $750.

Money raised will go towards the Burton Park Phase II proposal that will enhance the park with Bocce courts and a covered stage, according to the city.

Gates open at 6:15 pm tonight.

Will you come out and join us tonight for a night of great music? Let us know in the comments.

General Admission is $50? Wow, there is even more money in San Carlos than I realized.

Yes, $50. Includes concert and food. It's a fundraiser by the Park & Rec Foundation...they are helping to fund the maintenance, upkeep, and future improvements of our city parks. Maybe you should thank them? Just a suggestion.

Didn't intend my comment as a personal attack on anything or anyone Laura, and I'm certainly grateful for our parks. I'm sure it will be a lovely event.
