Tonight's the Night: San Carlos Lights Up the Season

The Night of Holiday Lights festivities will start at 5 p.m. on December 7.

The third annual Night of Holiday Lights, complete with a dusting of snow, is coming to the City of Good Living this Friday, Dec. 7 from 5-9 p.m.

According to City of San Carlos and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, Laurel Street's 600 and 700 blocks will be shut down from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday for the Night of Holiday Lights Event.

Held along Laurel Street between San Carlos and Arroyo avenues, the event and will feature an incredible display of holiday lights, a train ride for children, Christmas cheer and appearances by city council members.

The official lighting will take place at 6:30pm at the intersection of Laurel and Cherry streets.

No vehicles will be permitted to park in this area during the designated hours.
