Reminder: San Carlos Library Closes Saturday for Remodel

Starting Saturday, the San Carlos Library will undergo a renovation and refresh project. The first floor of the library will be closed May 18 through mid-November.

Renovation & Refresh
The San Carlos Library at 610 Elm Street will be undergoing a renovation and refresh project starting in mid-May.  This work will last for a period of 6 months.  

Library Improvements
Improvements to the San Carlos Library will include a special space for teens, a one-point service desk, quieter reading and study areas, an inviting area of attractive displays featuring new books, CDs, and DVDs, clustered public computers, expanded children's room, toddler-appropriate computers, convenient self-check stations and a colorful, fresh ambiance.

Library Closure
During that period, the first floor of the Library will be closed starting on Saturday, May 18th through November 2013.  

Temporary Mini-Library on 2nd Floor
A temporary mini-Library will be available on the 2nd Floor of the Library Building starting on May 28th.
