Night of Holiday Lights Returns to San Carlos

The festivities will return Dec. 2 for a night of holiday cheer.

As we prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, finish our shopping, and adjust to the cold shift of brisk weather, the city prepares for it’s second annual event, Night of Holiday Lights.

Last year, thousands swarmed Laurel Street to celebrate the winter holidays. Children rode on a train; carolers drifted throughout downtown, and a street lighting highlighted the event.

Sponsored by the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, the event is free and open to the public.

“As is tradition, Mayor Andy Klein will wish everyone happy holidays, light the street and encourage everyone to enjoy the downtown for the evening and holiday season,” said city officials.

The event will take place Dec. 2 in downtown San Carlos on Laurel Street from 5 to 8 pm. Lighting festivities will occur at the intersection of Laurel and Cherry.
