Chris Parlette and Tuco Properties were granted permission last week to demolish the house at 1536 Cherry Street in San Carlos and replace it with four townhouses.
San Carlos Associate Planner Jill Lewis presented the Planning Commission with a detailed report and recommended the proposal be approved.
The architect was on hand to answer questions and to provide specifics on the plan, which was amended according to the concerns of neighbors.
The plan utilizes solar panels and other green concepts.
The plan was approved unanimously.
