Celebrate San Carlos Train Station's 125th Anniversary This Sunday

The event is organized by the San Carlos Villagers.

The San Carlos Villagers, the volunteer group that maintains the San Carlos History Museum, will host a very unique celebration on Sunday--the 125th anniversary of the San Carlos Train Station.  The event will be held at the museum, 533 Laurel St., next to the fire station, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

According to the group's website, the goal of the Villagers goal was to collect documents, photos and memorabilia that reflected San Carlos' rich background and safe-guard it for the future. The Villagers compile, collect and assemble letters, photographs, personal articles and relics of historical interest detailing the city's heritage.
