This event kicks off the Park and Recreation Foundation's spring capital campaign.  The foundation was established by residents of San Carlos to raise funds for improvements to the city's parks and recreation facilities, programs, and services benefiting our community.

The foundation is an independent community organization with sole discretion over how funds are spent. The recently approved Burton Park Phase II project will expand on Burton Park's offerings with the addition of a permanent community stage for summer concerts and community performances, bocce ball courts, renovations to the basketball courts, and improvements to the park's landscape design.

A variety of funding and donation options for individuals and businesses are available including donations, bequests, company matching gifts, sponsorships and naming opportunities have helped fund this project, which the city has matched.
