CALLING ALL CROONERS! RAGAZZI BOYS CHORUS HOLDS AUDITIONS

WHAT:  The Bay Area’s acclaimed Ragazzi Boys Chorus, the renowned music education and choral arts performing organization, invites boys, ages 7 through 10 who love to sing, to come to low-key, stress-free, small group auditions.  Boys will participate in singing games and other activities, during which they’ll sing in groups and individually.  No singing experience is necessary; those interested in participating must schedule an appointment.

Ragazzi Boys Chorus is dedicated to providing valuable performing opportunities for boys, and to their music education.  Its mission is to produce great choral music and help boys become young men of character and distinction.  Ragazzi (the term used in opera to refer to children’s voices) has performed with the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony, Opera San Jose, West Bay Opera, and has toured throughout the United States and internationally. Founded in 1987, Ragazzi performs traditional and contemporary works. Choristers, aged 7–18, are divided into five choral groups with increasing levels of musical challenge and reward. Boys advance from the training levels to the performing/touring Concert Group.
